Alex loves a good story – and storytelling. More than that, she loves figuring out the best way to share a message, develop a connection, and make an impression. At The Lukens Company, Alex develops and implements marketing and communication strategies that span various verticals and showcase TLC’s growing capabilities.
Prior to joining TLC in 2015, Alex worked in the world of book publishing, where she managed various marketing and promotion initiatives for nonfiction titles and facilitated end-to-end book publishing services. She’s the oddball creative type who also gets a thrill from checking things off a to-do list and frequently pulls from her background in project management and publishing to help drive marketing initiatives.
Alex is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she studied Political Science, Sociology, and English. With her free time, she can usually be found running up and down D.C.’s various trails, absorbed in a book, or cheering on her Pittsburgh teams.
