TLC Political is an award-winning direct response marketing agency that is seeking a Vice President of Digital to join our Political Practice.

Vice President, Digital will work on integrated multichannel strategies and utilize the latest tools in ad tech, email marketing, and web development to reach, engage, and convert target audiences for Republican candidates, committees, and causes. This position will also interact with the Sales Department in support of new client acquisition and onboarding. They will report to the Senior Vice President, Political.


  • Managing TLC Political’s digital services for the Political Practice, including overseeing strategy, production, client relationships, vendor relationships, business administration, and special projects

  • Driving the digital team’s technology and process implementation and adoption efforts
  • Leading the execution of clients' digital campaigns with a specific focus on critical and creative testing
  • Creating campaign projections for clients, pulling metrics, analyzing results, and providing strategic recommendations for metric improvements
  • Managing the creative process with the graphic design and web development teams
  • Overseeing email builds and deployment in various email platforms Pulling metrics and preparing reports
  • Supervising multichannel digital ad campaign setup, optimization, and reporting using various platforms such as our demand-side platform, Facebook, Twitter, and Google Ads
  • Staying on top of industry trends
  • Identifying new strategies and opportunities in the digital space and proactively presenting them to clients
  • Supporting digital sales efforts by drafting RFP responses and proposals for new business
  • Onboarding new clients, developing projections, and overseeing the discovery period with the Political practice’s account team
  • Overseeing the Political practice’s digital team with a focus on fostering a positive work environment that engages the team, encourages learning, and facilitates growth
  • Communicating effectively to ensure the bridge between strategy and execution is clearly understood and efficiently managed amongst the digital team
  • Mentoring and coaching team members, including providing guidance with trainings and professional development
  • Monitoring the profitability of the digital portfolio as well as implementing tactics to improve efficiencies and achieve clients’ objectives
  • Communicating and monitoring proper billing procedures


  • 7+ years of experience in digital, marketing, or advertising (experience at an agency or GOP campaign preferred)
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to establish and maintain goodwill with our conservative clients
  • Effective communication skills, giving you the ability to present information, respond, and follow up on questions and inquiries from clients and managers with clarity
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, especially for industry-related documents (e.g., strategy proposals, creative briefs, results analyses, etc.)
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects, prioritize a variety of tasks, and think on your feet to meet ever-changing needs and deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with quick turnarounds
  • Experience in building and deploying emails, working in digital ad platforms, and using Salesforce or other CRMs
  • Proficient in the use of program management software
  • Ability to delegate tasks and manage a small team
  • Experienced in giving, receiving, and sharing feedback
  • Adept at problem solving and resolving conflicts
  • Results-oriented and team-first attitude
  • Inclination to learn and grow professionally
