Bernardo started at The Lukens Company at the brink of the 2016 Presidential Election. With him he brings experience working with non-profit and for-profit organizations. After attending school in Norfolk, VA at Old Dominion University, he interned at a traditional agency and became a member of Ad2 (a youth advertising club). Through Ad2, he performed pro-bono work for several non-profits and learned that marketing for good causes was fun and interesting. He soon landed a position with a direct marketing agency that specialized solely in working with non-profit organizations. There he managed and coordinated a monthly mailing program that was one of the main sources of fundraising for his client.
In his for-profit experience, Bernardo managed all aspects needed to push creative projects from beginning to end. Not only did he establish great relationships with his clients and team members but also the vendors with whom he worked closely.
With his free time, Bernardo has a passion for global affairs, current events, and photography. Having an international background has giving him an appetite for understanding the world and the events that happen, and why they might of happened. He loves all types of photography and believes that having an expensive camera is nice, but the best camera to have is the one you have with you.
